Welcome to the Creative Fantasy website!  We've had an influx of people signing up lately on the site, and in order to make sure everyone understands the purpose of the site, I thought I'd put up a little notice.

Creative Fantasy (the site) is an extention of a LiveJournal community of the same name.  The purpose of the LJ Community was to bring fantasy writers together with the purpose of getting their work critiqued (beta'd) by other writers.  With the hope that bringing these people together, that work and ideas would improve with the help of other writers.  The purpose of the site, where you are now, is to provide an outlet for the writers of this community.  On this site, we can share current works-in-process with each other, as well as resources and tips for fantasy writing.

If you are interested in joining us, please make sure that you are a member of the LJ Community  first.  There is an approval process for the community.  These are writers intent on someday publishing their works.  In order to protect these works, there must be an approval process, to ensure the safety of the writers.  Once you are a member of the LJ Community and have posted your introduction to the community, please feel free to sign up for an account on the website.  The website sign-up also has an approval, process.  This process is only to ensure that people with access to the site, are members of the LJ Community.  When you sign-up on the site, please use the same name or user ID that you hold on LiveJournal, to make the approval speedy.

Places of importance on the site:
Latest News: check here for updates to the site.  The two most recent updates are listed directly underneath this message.

Site Information: this is the place to go to find out more about the specifics of the site.  A FAQ, a How-To on submitting new items to the site, and the beta services needed/offered.

And two Contact Pages: the Site Administrator, and the LJ Community Admins

Thank you.
